Lord Justice Leveson appointed as Chairman of the Criminal Justice Council

The Lord Chief Justice has announced that former member of chambers Lord Justice Leveson, the Senior Presiding Judge, will be appointed as the Chairman of the Criminal Justice Council with effect from 20 October 2008 ahead of the retirement of Lord Justice Gage.
