Francis's primary specialization is in care proceedings. Francis represents a balance of Local Authorities, parents, children and Guardians at all Court levels.

Francis has particular experience of extended fact finding hearings and the issues arising from related criminal proceedings and medical issues.

Francis regularly gives seminars on family law to a number of organizations.
