Employment Law
Rebecca’s particular area of interest is employment law and her practice encompasses all aspects of employment law including:

  • Unfair dismissal
  • Redundancy
  • Working time
  • TUPE
  • Holiday and Wages Act
  • Discrimination (including discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, religious belief and age)

Rebecca regularly appears in the Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal.  Rebecca acts for both Claimants and Respondents and is on the Equal Opportunities Commission’s panel of approved barristers.

In addition to her court and advisory work Rebecca has acted as an independent investigator in relation to statutory grievances brought under the Employment Act 2002.

Property
Rebecca acts in all areas of property law including commercial property and housing (encompassing homelessness, disrepair and anti-social behaviour).
Rebecca acts for both Claimants and Defendants.

Personal Injury
All aspects of personal injury including health and safety at work.  Rebecca acts for both Claimants and Defendants and regularly undertakes CFA work.

Contract
Rebecca undertakes a wide range of contract cases with a particular interest in employment contracts.

Rebecca is accredited to undertake public access work.
