Summary Of Practice
Robert Cameron was called to the Bar in 2003. He appears on behalf of local authorities, parents and guardians in public law childcare proceedings, and on behalf of parents in private law proceedings.
He has also acted in High Court declaratory relief proceedings relating to the best interests of patients.
Selected Cases
A Local Authority v (1) E (2) D (3) A (by her litigation friend the Official Solicitor) [2007] EWHC 2396 (Fam.) before Sir Mark Potter P - The Court ordered that a young woman with severe learning disabilities should reside full time in the Local Authorities specialist residential unit in circumstances where her parents refused to cooperate with a shared care arrangement.
