Summary Of PracticeRichard was called to the Bar in 1985. He specialises in clinical negligence, personal injury and professional regulatory work. His clinical negligence work includes claims for cerebral palsy and other birth injuries, psychiatric issues, including misdiagnosis and self-inflicted harm, negligent surgery and delayed diagnosis of cancer. His personal injury work involves predominantly brain and spinal injuries, together with industrial disease. He appears in professional regulatory cases before the General Medical Council and the Care Standards Tribunal. Richard regularly lectures on issues of procedural and substantive law. Ranked as a Leading Junior in the field of clinical negligence in the Chambers and Partners Guide to the Legal Profession 2006.
