Alison has experience of representing parties at the various stages in care proceedings, including emergency applications. The case involved complex medical evidence and significant factual disputes.

Financial remedy and TLATA proceedings
Alison has experience in variety of cases in these areas, from matters involving limited assets where it is in the parties’ best interests to reach a settlement quickly to more complex cases where the parties are enmeshed in extensive disputes, and/or the assets are significant. She has experience of advising on disclosure issues and in cases involving assets held overseas.
In addition to her family practice, Alison has extensive experience of environmental regulatory work and is regularly instructed by the defence in criminal prosecutions brought by the Environment Agency (eg, R v Thames Water Utilities Ltd [2015] EWCA Crim 960).

Alison has a background in criminal law, where she gained considerable experience representing clients in prosecutions under the Animal Welfare Act 2006. Her practice also encompasses regulatory matters, such as Environment Agency prosecutions and actions for statutory nuisance.
