Possessions and Injunctions

Possessions and Injunctions

Every member of 42BR’s team, from silk to newest tenant, has extensive experience of the bread-and-butter of Social Housing work: possession claims and ASB injunctions.

Whether it’s a standard rent possession or noise-related injunction, or a complex multi-day tenancy fraud trial with an Article 8 defence, or anything in between, our team can help.

There is a strong cross-over between our Social Housing and Employment teams.  If you are representing a tenant considering bringing or defending a housing claim based on the Equality Act, we will know how to draft and present your case; or, if you are representing a landlord facing an Equality Act claim or defence, we will understand what needs to be done to respond to it effectively.

We also understand that sometimes in housing litigation – especially injunctions – instructions can only be provided at very short notice.  Our team has the strength and breadth to cover even very urgent instructions.
