Ben’s busy court and paperwork practice is focused on property and commercial litigation, though he draws on over five years’ experience in a broader range of civil matters. As such, he is seasoned advocate both in interim hearings and at trial and prides himself on a pragmatic, client-centred approach to his work.
Increasingly, Ben’s work entails advising and acting as sole counsel in High Court disputes of six- and seven-figure value, though he maintains a County Court and First-Tier Tribunal practice in addition. He is also experienced in mediation and other ADR. He is able to produce work and attend hearings on an urgent basis where necessary.
Ben is well-versed in avoiding (or, if necessary, mitigating) the effects of the various procedural pitfalls that increasingly beset even the most fastidious of fee-earners. He is also an effective advocate and advisor in matters of costs.
