Carolina joined 42BR in November 2023, and is developing a broad practice across all of chambers’ main areas of expertise.  

Carolina read Modern Languages at the University of Oxford and completed her law conversion at City, University of London. After graduating, Carolina worked in group litigation, specialising in medical product liability relating to women’s contraceptive devices, and in Court of Protection law, as a legal assistant to a partner in a Legal 500 firm. 

Carolina is fully bilingual in English and Italian, and professionally fluent in German. 

Family Law

Carolina accepts instructions across the full spectrum of family law, including public and private children, financial remedies and protective orders under the Family Law Act. 

She specialises in private children law, having appeared for clients at all stages of the Child Arrangements Programme. 

Carolina also has experience acting for local authorities, parents and Children’s Guardians at all stages of care proceedings.

Re B (2024): secured 7 findings of domestic abuse at a 3-day fact-finding hearing 

Court of Protection Law

Carolina is interested in building a practice within Court of Protection and mental capacity law, having previously worked as a legal assistant to a partner in a Legal 500 firm. Her caseload mostly focused on representing ‘P’ through their Official Solicitor. 

Employment Law

Carolina accepts instructions in employment cases and is developing a practice in this area. 

Clinical Negligence Law

Carolina accepts instructions in clinical negligence cases and is developing a practice in this area. Prior to the Bar, Carolina worked as a paralegal within a City firm’s medical product liability team, namely on the Vaginal Mesh and Hormone Pregnancy Testing litigation. 

Personal Injury Law

Carolina accepts instructions in personal injury matters, and is developing a practice in this area.

Inquests

Carolina accepts instructions in inquests and is keen to build a practice in this area.
