Chantelle joined Chambers in October 2017 following completion of her Pupillage. She has a particular focus on Family and Child Care Law. Prior to coming to the Bar, Chantelle worked at a well-known firm of Solicitors as a paralegal to the director and handled her own case load, as well as conducting her own advocacy.
In her spare time, Chantelle enjoys yoga, cooking, going to the theatre and exploring London.
Family Law
Chantelle has experience of Non-molestation order and Occupation Order proceedings for both Applicant’s and Respondent’s from the first hearing through to final hearings. She also has experience of Transfer of Tenancy Proceedings.
Chantelle has also developed experience in respect of disclosure hearings, having represented the police within the context of both family and child care proceedings.
Private Children
Chantelle has experience of private children proceedings which includes contact order applications, specific issues orders, prohibited steps orders and ‘live with orders’. She has acted for both Applicant and Respondent from the first hearings through to Final Hearings, which also have a Fact Finding Hearing element. Chantelle also has experience of Enforcement of Child Arrangement Order proceedings.
Public Children
Chantelle has acted for both parents and local authority’s in applications for Care and Placement Orders, as well as applications under the Adoption Act 2002. Chantelle has conduct Case Management Hearings, through to Issues Resolution Hearings and Final Hearings.
