Christi joined chambers in 2015 and has a broad practice including tribunal, county court and high court matters. She also sits part time as a Disability Member in the First Tier Tribunal (Social Entitlement Chamber). Drafting claims and defences relating to breach of contract. Procedural litigation. Drafting terms and conditions for use on e-commerce websites.
Employment
Employment tribunal representation. Contract drafting in respect of the provision of professional services.
Family Law
Acting in matrimonial finance, and private and public law children’s and domestic violence related proceedings including appearing for the Metropolitan Police in relation to cross-disclosure between civil and criminal proceedings.
Insolvency
Court appearances in personal and commercial insolvency matters including urgent instructions.
Personal injury and Clinical Negligence
Small claim and fast track advocacy. Drafting advice on causation, quantum and liability including schedules of loss.
Property Law
Regular court appearances in private and social landlord possession hearings, and experience of trespass, disrepair, public law and Equality Act issues.
