Hamed has a busy practice across four broad areas of work. He enjoys a close working relationship with instructing solicitors and is happy to act as a sounding board. He has been described by his solicitors as unflappable in the face of difficulty and brings a measured approach to his cases.
Hamed is qualified to accept instructions under the Direct Public Access Scheme.
Hamed is regularly instructed in Fast Track and Multi Track personal injury matters arising out of RTAs, occupier’s liability claims and others causes of action.
In RTA matters he is well versed in representing the interests of defendant insurer including the running of LVI and causation defences and has achieved excellent results for those clients through forensic cross examination of claimants where there are credibility issues.
Hamed has extensive experience of credit hire claims and the leading authorities on credit hire issues. He has successfully had credit hire claims dismissed on enforceability and need issues arising out of cross examination.
He also undertakes claimant work and is willing to to consider on a case by case basis entering into a CFA on agreed terms if the case is appropriate.
