Hannah joined chambers in 2020 having completed her pupillage at a leading matrimonial finance chambers in London. Since joining chambers, Hannah has built a busy practice specialising exclusively in family law, with a strong focus on financial remedies and private children law. Hannah is known for her thorough preparation, skillful advocacy and excellent client care. In addition to her own cases, Hannah has been led in the Court of Appeal and the High Court.
Before coming to the Bar, Hannah studied English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford. After graduating, she went on to study at BPP Law School, having been awarded Major Scholarships from the Inns of Court. During her legal studies, she undertook pro bono work, volunteering with Support Through Court, BPP Legal Advice Clinic (Family Law) and Free Representation Unit.
Outside work, Hannah continues to pursue her love of English literature, as well as playing piano and attending ballet classes.
Hannah is regularly instructed in financial remedy proceedings. She represents clients at all stages of proceedings and has been instructed in cases involving pensions, non-disclosure of assets and non-matrimonial property.
Hannah is regularly instructed in private children law proceedings. She represents clients at all stages of proceedings, including fact-finding hearings, and has been instructed in cases involving domestic abuse, parental alienation and international relocation. She also has experience representing clients in cases where a Rule 16.4 guardian has been appointed.
