Helen returned to Chambers in 2013, having previously completed her pupillage at 42BR Barristers under the supervision of Richard Furniss and Damian Woodward-Carlton. Helen has established a broad-based practice and accepts instructions in all key areas of Chambers’ work, with particular focus on:
Helen represents Claimants and Respondents in core areas of employment law including discrimination, unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, redundancy, pay claims and whistle blowing. Her practice has been informed, in part, by experience gained prior to the Bar through voluntary work for the Free Representation Unit and Citizens’ Advice Bureau. As a natural adjunct to Employment Law, Helen is particularly interested in developing her professional disciplinary practice.
