Jennifer joined 42 Bedford Row in 2017 on completion of pupillage in chambers and has a wide range of experience in civil and family law.
In 2015 Jennifer worked as an intern with the charity Amicus ALJ, assisting on death penalty trials and appeals in Louisiana. She remains involved in, and an enthusiastic supporter of, their work.
Jennifer is frequently instructed in small claims trials arising out of road traffic accidents, including cases concerning credit hire agreements. She has also acted in fast track proceedings, at infant settlement hearings and in other small claims matters arising from breach of contract and non-payment of statutory charges.
Jennifer continues to develop her practice in the Court of Protection, advising and appearing on behalf of the Official Solicitor and local authority in proceedings encompassing a broad range of welfare matters.
We are delighted to welcome Vondez Phipps and Jennifer Youngs as full tenants of Chambers on 1st October following successful completion of their pupillage. We wish them a very successful career at the Bar.
