What to expect from a mini-pupillage at 42BR Barristers

Mini-pupillage at 42BR Barristers is not assessed and does not form part of our selection process for pupillage. It is a chance to see a mix of the civil and/or family law work we do, as well as to get a flavour of life in our Chambers.

How to apply

Once you are ready to apply, please send the following to

  • A covering letter (maximum 1 page A4)
  • Your CV
  • A completed copy of our confidentiality agreement, found here,
  • A completed Diversity Monitoring Form, found here.

Applications are welcome for our mini-pupillage programme between the dates specified in the timetable below. Please note that your application will only be considered for the period immediately following the deadline in which you have applied.

Application Timetable

Apply 1 September – 21 October for a mini-pupillage between November and January.
Apply 1 December – 21 January for a mini-pupillage between February and April.
Apply 1 March – 21 April for a mini-pupillage between May and July.
Apply 30 April – 21 June for a mini-pupillage in September or October.
