What to expect from a mini pupillage at 42BR Barristers

Mini pupillage at 42BR Barristers is not assessed and does not form part of our selection process for pupillage. It is a chance to see a mix of the civil and/or family law work we do, as well as to get a flavour of life in our Chambers.

How to apply

Once you are ready to apply, please send the following to [email protected]:

• A covering letter (maximum 1 page A4)
• Your CV
• A completed copy of our confidentiality agreement, found here,
• A completed Diversity Monitoring Form, found here.

Applications are welcome for our mini pupillage programme between the dates specified in the timetable below. Please note that your application will only be considered for the period immediately following the deadline in which you have applied.

Application Timetable

Apply Monday 1 September 2025 – Friday 17 October 2025 for a mini pupillage between November and January.
Apply Monday 1 December 2025 – Friday 16 January 2026 for a mini pupillage between February and April.
Apply Monday 2 March 2026 – Friday 17 April 2026 for a mini pupillage between May and July.
Apply Monday 27 April 2026 – Friday 19 June 2026 for a mini pupillage in September or October.
