Introduction

Katherine is a second six pupil accepting instructions in all of chambers’ core areas of practice.

Prior to starting pupillage, Katherine worked as judicial assistant to two justices in the Court of Appeal Civil Division.
During her first three months of pupillage, Katherine observed and assisted on cases in all areas of property law. This included working on homelessness appeals as well as on residential and commercial landlord and tenant disputes.

During her second three months of pupillage, she observed and assisted in all areas of family law. In particular, she has assisted in complex care proceedings where diplomatic immunity was raised as a jurisdictional bar. Katherine has also had experience of analysing extensive medical evidence for fact finding hearings.
