Threshold documents are frequently criticised by parties and judges in children cases for not being compliant with the guidance in Re A (A Child) [2015] EWFC 11, but it is sometimes far from obvious how to put that guidance in practice in order to draft a helpful threshold document. James Sharpe and Christi Scarborough will take you through the process of identifying and presenting the key issues in a case in order to draft threshold documents in a way that will reduce the risk of judicial criticism and may assist in making cases more efficient to run as proceedings continue.
