He has dealt with a considerable number of medical negligence cases as well as personal injury cases arising out of accidents at work, motoring and marine collisions. He has extensive experience of advising at the pre-litigation stage as well as appearing on interim applications and at trial. Marcus is very approachable and is known for providing effective and practical advice. He has a reputation for achieving excellent results and producing pleadings, advices and documents in a timely manner.
Marcus has considerable experience in all aspects of catastrophic and birth injury proceedings and is regularly instructed by both local and major regional firms in these fields. He has been involved in a significant number of high value cases of note. Marcus has also been instructed on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants in claims alleging fraud. Marcus practised offshore for a number of years and is able to use that experience when cross-jurisdictional issues arise.

Marcus has dealt with a wide variety of personal injury matters arising out of road traffic accidents, Occupier’s and Employer’s liability claims and maritime accidents. He has particular experience of dealing with catastrophic injury cases.
