Vondez has a general common law practice, accepting instructions in a broad range of civil and family matters. Vondez has been described by a high court judge as an “extremely impressive” advocate who “has a strong future at the Bar”.

Before joining the Bar, Vondez worked as a legal researcher for a London set of chambers focusing on Privy Council appeals, and as a human rights and international development consultant.

Personal Injury Profile

Vondez is regularly instructed in claims arising out of road traffic accidents, including fast-track personal injury claims. He accepts instructions on the basis of conditional fee agreements, if appropriate.

Vondez advises on liability and quantum in a range of personal injury claims, including infant settlement approvals and claims under the Highways Act.

Commercial and Insolvency

Vondez advises and represents creditors in winding-up and bankruptcy petitions. He receives regular instructions to represent both claimants and defendants in claims for debt recovery and credit hire charges.

Property and Housing

Vondez represents both private and social landlords in possession, rent arrears and disrepair claims. He also represents both local authorities and their tenants in Environmental Protection Act prosecutions.

He regularly advises on a range of residential and commercial property matters including recovery of ground rent, breach of covenants, forfeiture, assured shorthold tenancies, and section 21 notices.


Vondez regularly appears for local authorities in care proceedings, successfully seeking emergency and interim orders and conducting multi-day final hearings.

He has experience in private family disputes, and has successfully sought and resisted applications for non-molestation, child arrangements, occupation and prohibited steps orders.

Vondez has received judicial commendation for his work in a five-day final hearing in the High Court involving fact-finding in respect of serious allegations of domestic abuse and child abduction.


Vondez accepts instructions in all areas of employment law.
