Vondez has a general common law practice, accepting instructions in a broad range of civil and family matters. Vondez has been described by a high court judge as an “extremely impressive” advocate who “has a strong future at the Bar”.

Before joining the Bar, Vondez worked as a legal researcher for a London set of chambers focusing on Privy Council appeals, and as a human rights and international development consultant.

Vondez regularly appears for local authorities in care proceedings, successfully seeking emergency and interim orders and conducting multi-day final hearings.

He has experience in private family disputes, and has successfully sought and resisted applications for non-molestation, child arrangements, occupation and prohibited steps orders.

Vondez has received judicial commendation for his work in a five-day final hearing in the High Court involving fact-finding in respect of serious allegations of domestic abuse and child abduction.
