
Harry practises in all areas of family law, with a particular focus on children work, both private children proceedings and care proceedings.
Before life as a practising barrister, Harry gained invaluable experience as a senior paralegal in the family department of a leading city law firm, consistently ranked No.1 in both The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners. He developed a strong foundation in complex family law matters and demonstrated a deep commitment to pro bono work, volunteering with the National Centre for Domestic Violence and the Citizens Advice Bureau.

Private Children Law
In private children proceedings, Harry adeptly handles disputes concerning child arrangements, including decisions about where a child should live and the time they spend with each parent. He has extensive experience with applications for Prohibited Steps Orders and Specific Issue Orders, often involving complex disputes over matters such as schooling or applications to remove a child from the jurisdiction. Harry is also highly experienced in cases involving allegations of domestic abuse and regularly deals with protective injunctions, including Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders. He has been instructed in fact-finding hearings, where he has successfully achieved favourable findings for his clients.
Public Children Law
In public law proceedings, Harry represents a diverse range of clients, including parents and wider family members, local authorities, and Children’s Guardians. He has dealt with complex and challenging cases involving significant neglect, substance misuse, physical and sexual abuse, mental health issues, and non-accidental injuries. Harry frequently appears in the High Court in relation to Deprivation of Liberty orders, recovery orders, and applications concerning the placement of children in foreign jurisdictions.
