Our Professional Negligence Team

Our professional negligence team works for claimants and defendants in professional liability disputes relating to a variety of occupations. We have an excellent record in actions ranging from large High Court cases to more modest county court matters.

Professional liability arbitration and mediation sessions are also integral to our work and we represent professionals in tribunals, internal disciplinary proceedings and investigations, where our detailed sector knowledge comes into its own.

Typical sectors in which we act include:-

  •  Law (solicitors and barristers)
  • Accountancy
  • Architects
  • Engineers
  • Estate agents
  • Insolvency
  • Financial services and advisers
  • Insurance broking
  • Property and construction, including surveying, engineering, planning and architecture

The team divides into two sections.  Some members of the team are professional negligence specialists who are experienced in claims against a wide-range of professionals in many differing factual situations.

The other members are experienced in claims relating to their particular practice areas, such as family law and personal injury claims.
