Jack is currently a pupil, under the supervision of Sharan Bhachu and Michael Grant.

Before beginning pupillage, Jack was a housing and homelessness advisor at Citizens Advice. He
later volunteered at a Law Centre’s housing department, and assisted on housing possession duty
desks at three courts. Jack has also contributed articles on housing law to the Legal Action
Gazette.

Jack has also worked with disadvantaged children, representing them in school exclusion hearings
and independent review panels. He has also assisted on EHCP appeals.
Previously, Jack was a university lecturer in history, with his research specialising in the medieval
Black Sea.

Jack is also an amateur chessboxer.
