42BR Barristers ranked in Chambers UK Bar Guide 2024
42BR Barristers is pleased to share we have again been ranked in this year's Chambers UK Guide, in both London and the South East.
We have had three members join the rankings, Thomas Wood in Clinical Negligence, Catherine Urquhart in Employment and Niamh O'Brien in Social Housing, as well as gaining a Set Ranking in Family/Matrimonial (Band 3).
We now have 27 members ranked across 7 practice areas; Clinical Negligence, Family: Children - London, Family: Children - South East, Family/Matrimonial, Employment, Personal Injury and Social Housing, as well as 4 Set Rankings.
Many congratulations to the 7 of our members who have achieved a higher band ranking this year, namely Katie Phillips (Band 1 - Family), Sharan Bhachu (Band 3 - Family), Rebecca Thomas (Band 4 - Employment), Michael Salter (Band 3 - Employment), Rad Kohanzad (Band 3 - Employment), Tim Welch (Band 5 - Employment) and Mathew McDermott (Band 3 - Social Housing).
Family law members Tina Cook KC (Band 1), Gemma Taylor KC (Band 1), Damian Woodward-Carlton KC (Band 3), Jonathan Bennett (Band 2) and Philip McCormack (Band 3) have all maintained their rankings in Family: Children - London. While Gemma Farrington KC (Band 2), Jeremy Hall (Band 1) and Kate Kochnari (Band 2) also maintain their rankings in the South East. Jeremy Hall also maintains his Band 2 ranking in Family/Matrimonial.
Our Employment members Ben Uduje (Band 5), Gillian Crew (Band 5), Jason Braier (Band 4), Jude Shepherd (Band 2), Safia Tharoo (Band 4) maintain their rankings.
Iris Ferber KC is this year listed as a New Silk, while Desmond Kilcoyne maintains his Band 3 ranking in Social Housing.
Finally, Richard Furniss has maintained his Band 2 ranking in Clinical Negligence, as well as a Band 3 ranking in Personal Injury. Richard Gregory is also ranked as Band 3 in Personal Injury.
