42BR Barristers ranked in Chambers UK Bar Guide 2025
42BR Barristers is pleased to share we have again been ranked in this year's Chambers UK Guide, in both London and the South East.
Many congratulations to Angela Piears who joins the rankings as Band 4 in Social Housing.
We now have 30 members ranked across 7 practice areas; Clinical Negligence, Family: Children - London, Family: Children - South East, Family/Matrimonial, Employment, Personal Injury and Social Housing, as well as 4 Set Rankings.
Iris Ferber KC, Niamh O'Brien and Desmond Kilcoyne have all achieved a higher banding in Social Housing this year, as well as Jason Braier moving from Band 4 to Band 3 in Employment.
Family law members Tina Cook KC (Band 1), Gemma Taylor KC (Band 1), Damian Woodward-Carlton KC (Band 3), Jonathan Bennett (Band 2), Philip McCormack (Band 3) and Sharan Bhachu (Band 3) have all maintained their rankings in Family: Children - London. While Gemma Farrington KC (Band 2), Jeremy Hall (Band 1), Jo Porter (Band 2) and Kate Kochnari (Band 2) also maintain their rankings in the South East. Jeremy Hall also maintains his Band 2 ranking in Family/Matrimonial.
Our Employment members Jude Shepherd (Band 2), Samuel Healy (Band 2), Michael Salter (Band 3), Laura Robinson (Band 4), Rebecca Thomas (Band 4), Safia Tharoo (Band 4), Ben Uduje (Band 5), Gillian Crew (Band 5), Tim Welch (Band 5) and Catherine Urquhart (Band 6) maintain their rankings.
Mathew McDermott maintains his Band 3 ranking in Social Housing.
Finally, Richard Furniss has maintained his Band 2 ranking in Clinical Negligence, as well as a Band 3 ranking in Personal Injury. Thomas Wood also maintains his Band 5 ranking in Clinical Negligence. Richard Gregory is also maintains his Band 3 ranking in Personal Injury.
