
42BR Barristers welcomes Martin Horne as probationary tenant
42BR is delighted to welcome Martin Horne, who joins us as a probationary tenant.
Martin has a broad civil practice, with a focus on Business, Property, and Housing Law. He regularly appears as sole counsel in both the County Court and the High Court.
His practice includes business-to-business and business-to-consumer contractual disputes, consumer credit, company and personal insolvency, retail banking litigation, and claims involving assigned debt.
Martin also has extensive experience in possession and arrears claims brought by mortgagees, LPA receivers, and both social and private landlords. He is regularly instructed in matters involving trespass, forfeiture, disrepair, service charges, charging orders, and orders for sale.
Additionally, he acts in possession and injunction claims (including access and anti-social behaviour), disrepair matters, and has represented local authorities in the Magistrates’ Court and Valuation Tribunal in relation to liability orders, council tax, and business rates.
