42BR Barristers is delighted to welcome Sam Healy to our Employment, Personal Injury and Property teams, effective from today. Sam joins us with over 25 years’ experience at the Bar. He has been on the GLD panel for over a decade and is recommended for employment work in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.

Sam’s employment practice encompasses the full range employment law.  He is typically involved in cases involving discrimination, whistleblowing or TUPE and frequently appears against leading counsel.

Sam also specialises in residential property disputes (Boundaries, rights of way and other easements, nuisance, proprietary estoppel and disputes arising out of the sale of property). 

He also practises in wills and probate, typically in disputes as to the validity of wills or their meaning, administration disputes and claims under the Inheritance Act 1975.

Sam has practised in personal injury litigation all his professional life.  In recent years, his work has mainly been in the fields of industrial disease and unusual occupier/employer claims.
