42BR relocates to new premises in Staple Inn

42BR is pleased to announce that we have now moved from 42 Bedford Row and relocated to state-of-the-art premises nestled within the beautiful gardens of Staple Inn.

Having resided in two Georgian townhouses on Bedford Row for the last 15 years, the need for updated facilities, better accessibility and a more modern workspace became evident.  

Our new premises, situated on the first and second floors of 11 Staple Inn, feature several newly refurbished conference rooms and breakout areas, fully equipped to accommodate in-person, hybrid and remote meetings and hearings. We will also be able to welcome clients to larger workshop-style events in our spacious seminar suite. Our new clerks’ room and staff working areas are all open plan allowing for collaborative working, while our modern members spaces will offer much needed privacy and comfort for those working in London.  

Vincent Denham, Chambers Director, has worked closely with the contractors to achieve the result says: “Our working habits have changed significantly, and not just because of the pandemic. Clients need better levels of technology for conferences, our staff need a better working environment and members need a more adaptable workspace. Our new home in Staple Inn will give us all of this in a contemporary yet traditional environment.”

Tina Cook KC, Joint Head of Chambers, adds: “We are so sad to be leaving 42 Bedford Row, which has been such a positive and happy chambers for so many years. We have achieved so much there and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching chambers and all its barristers succeed. The time has simply come for us to move on to bigger and better premises where I’m sure Chambers will continue to prosper.”
