Language Matters: A discussion on the importance of changing the language of family separation

Hannah Cox, family law barrister at 42BR, and 42BR's Anne Dillon, barrister and mediator, are joined by Helen Adam, mediator and chair of the Family Solutions Group to discuss the Family Solutions Group’s Language Matters report and consider our role as practitioners in shaping the experience of families through our use of language.  

The need for a major change in culture has been recognised by Sir Andrew McFarlane, President of the Family Division:
