Celebrating 75 Years of Women Silks at the Bar

42BR Barristers is delighted to mark and celebrate 75 Years of Women Silks at the Bar.

Our Head of Chambers, Tina Cook KC, along with Gemma Taylor KC and Gemma Farrington KC attended the Bar Councils celebratory evening yesterday, where the Lady Chief Justice congratulated over 350 women KCs from the most senior to the most recently appointed.

Of the evening, Tina says: "A wonderful party celebrating 75 years of women silk. I was proud to be in a room with so many fantastic women!"

Tina, Gemma, Gemma, Iris Ferber KC and Lisa Henderson KC make up 71% of 42BR's Silk membership, a statistic we are proud to celebrate, today and every other day.
