The annual 42BR Barristers Disability Essay Prize was awarded on Friday, 4 May 2018. The essay title this year was: How should the law protect against discrimination at the intersection of disability and other protected characteristics, including gender?” Aysha Ahmed represented chambers in the panel discussion. The event was organised by Nicholas Bidnell-Edwards of chambers, and Dr Marie Tidball of Oxford University as an Oxford University Disability Law and Policy Project initiative.
