- Adoption cases, encompassing topics such as post-adoption contact, adoption support, and challenges related to placement or adoption orders. Relevant decisions will include R & C (Adoption or Fostering) [2024], X and Y, Re (Children: Adoption Order: Setting Aside) [2025], A v R Local Authority & Anor [2024] among others.

- Interface between public law and other areas including the Mental Health Act, Immigration and International law

- PD updates, including consideration of the draft PD27A on court bundles
