Country First Initiative at Central London Family Court

Launch of the New Child Contact Centre on the 4th floor of the Central Family Court London WC1

Anne Dillon (42BR Barristers) was the first speaker at the Launch party on 16th July of  the new Family Solutions Court on the fourth floor of the Central Family Court in London. Also speaking were The President of the Family Division The Rt Hon Sir James Munby and Lord Justice Briggs. The Launch was hugely well attended by Judges, barristers and solicitors including  Mrs Justice Parker, Mr Justice Holman, Lord Justice McFarlane and Baroness Shackleton.

The Family Solutions Court is the brain child of HJJ Altman who hosted the event last night. Anne played a central part in the creation of the new Child Contact Centre “Time Together” a key part of this innovative initiative. “Time Together” is the result of a partnership between the RCJ Advice (Citizens Advice Bureau) and NACCC (National Association of Child Contact Centres) and the Central Family Court and is the first of its kind in the country.

Anne has been a Trustee of the National Association of Child Contact Centres since 2009 and has recently been appointed a member of the new national Family Mediation Standards Board.
