In Memory of David Dabbs
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of a former member and friend, David Dabbs, who passed away yesterday, following a short illness.
David was a valued member of our commercial team for many years, and his professionalism left a lasting impact on everyone who had the pleasure of working with him.
David did an incredible amount for Lincoln’s Inn. He was instrumental in encouraging formal advocacy training for pupils and new practitioners, both for the Inn and more widely. He took part in training events in this country and overseas as well. It was no surprise that he was elected a Bencher in 2003 when only 41. That in itself was an incredible achievement, but a mark of just how much he did to help new barristers develop their advocacy skills.
His contributions to chambers and his support of his colleagues will be long remembered.
Our thoughts are with David’s family, friends, and all who knew him at this difficult time.
