This decision deals with case management for a substantial fact-finding hearing in a private law case. Allegations are made of specific incidents of serious sexual abuse and more general coercive control. Numerous intimate images (video and still) were produced by both parties to support their cases. Mrs Justice Knowles has provided helpful guidance on how courts should deal with questions of admissibility and management of such images in private law cases.
Damian Woodward-Carlton QC of 42 Bedford Row and Rachael Claridge of 1 Crown Office Row represented the child.
