42BR Barristers' Sharan Bhachu represented the Guardian who was concerned that the death of a 1 month old child within the family had not been sufficiently investigated and therefore had an impact on the analysis of risk factors when considering return of the other children.

The application for the instruction of an expert was refused on the basis that the expert would not be able to assist the court any more then the information already before the court and therefore the court was able to weigh up the risk factors going forward.
