Our Head of Pupillage, Safia Tharoo, provides an overview of the pupillage application and selection process, including the qualities and experience we look for in candidates, as well as guidance on how applicants may best prepare.
Life as a Silk and specialising
Damian Woodward-Carlton KC and Iris Ferber KC offer their perspectives on practice at silk level, outlining their journeys to taking silk and providing an account of a typical day in their practices: Iris from a civil law perspective, and Damian from a family law perspective.
Journey into tenancy and building a career as a junior tenant
Jennifer Youngs and James Hoile, who both completed their pupillage at 42BR and have since developed well-established practices, discuss their routes through pupillage to tenancy and share reflections on building a career at the Bar.
