
Zoe McGrath acted for the Guardian in the Court of Appeal Re C (A Child)
42BR’s Zoe McGrath, instructed by Helen Cojeen of Kingsfords Solicitors ltd, appeared in the Court of Appeal yesterday in the case of Re C (A Child).
The successful appeal was against the decision of HHJ Thomas, sitting in the Family Court, dated 16 September 2025.
The appellant local authority appealed the refusal of its application to vary the interim care plan and to separate the child from the parents following a negative residential assessment, for placement in local authority foster care.
Zoe acts on behalf of the Children’s Guardian.
