Stuart commenced his clerking career in 1995 and joined 42BR Barristers in 2014 following the merger with 13 KBW.

As Senior Civil Practice Manager Stuart mentors and manages the civil clerking team and has responsibility for business development and practice management across all civil areas within Chambers. The clerking team are recognised in both legal directories:

Stuart is a member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks and Legal Practice Management Association, and has obtained a Professional Certificate in Marketing which assists his understanding of how best to approach business development.

In his spare time Stuart follows Charlton Athletic home and away. He also enjoys horse racing and test match cricket when the weather allows.
