Paul Fuller is a commercial and Chancery barrister who appears in high-value and complex litigation across a broad range of business, property and private wealth disputes. His practice is particularly focused on company and commercial law, insolvency, property litigation and traditional Chancery work.

Drawing on almost two decades of dispute resolution experience, Paul combines specialist advocacy with the commercial insight gained from a decade in practice as a litigation solicitor, first in London and subsequently as Head of Dispute Resolution at a large Kent law firm. This dual perspective enables Paul to provide clients with strategic advice that is both legally rigorous and commercially focused.

Paul is regularly instructed by major clients operating within the commercial utilities sector, advising and representing them in substantial and often technically complex litigation. He is equally experienced acting for businesses, insolvency practitioners, property professionals, trustees, charities and private individuals in disputes involving shareholder and partnership issues, insolvency processes, property rights, trusts, estates and equitable remedies.

Clients value Paul's ability to identify the decisive issues in complex disputes, provide clear commercial advice and deliver persuasive advocacy in court, at mediation and throughout the dispute resolution process.

Recognised for his analytical approach and practical advocacy, Paul is a LexisNexis Legal Expert, contributing guidance on property disputes and private client law. He is a member of both the Chancery Bar Association and the Property Bar Association.

Paul is an accredited mediator and has been recognised by The Legal 500 as an "ADR Specialist". He is frequently instructed in matters where early strategic intervention, negotiation and alternative dispute resolution can deliver commercial solutions without the need for trial.

Alongside his practice, Paul is actively involved in legal education and the development of future advocates. He sits on the Professional Advisory Board of Kent Law School and works closely with leading universities to organise, coach and judge competitive mooting programmes. He regularly designs and runs mooting competitions for two leading universities, helping to bridge the gap between academic study and legal practice.

Paul is a committed supporter of access to justice. He regularly advises clients through the Kent Law Clinic on a pro bono basis and was included in the 2026 Pro Bono Recognition List of England and Wales in recognition of his ongoing contribution to free legal services.

As a member of Chambers’ Animal Welfare team, Paul has produced numerous articles, webinars, and podcasts on animal law. Paul has provided free advice to underprivileged pet owners, reuniting them with their companion animals. Paul is also the chairman of his local RSPCA, which operates a large animal centre, and several shops.

Outside practice, Paul is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer who coaches at his local gym and regularly competes in CrossFit, and other multisport events, including triathlons.
