Sharan was called to the Bar in 1999 and after completing pupillage developed a practice in all aspects of family law, with a particular emphasis on child protection work. She speaks fluent Punjabi.

Sharan is also involved in training and providing seminars to a wide ranging groups of professionals, including Local Authorities, Medical Professionals, the Police, Schools, Lawyers and many more.

Sharan was involved in the case Re H-W which was awarded Case of the Year at the Family Law Awards 2023. 

Court of Protection

Sharan will represent clients ranging from Local Authorities to the Official Solicitor and Lay Clients/Family Members and has an ability to build a rapport with clients, no matter how delicate or difficult the situation and has developed a reputation for being straightforward and forthright. Sharan’s experience in public law is extensive.
