Sam is a specialist employment and property/probate barrister.  Called in 1999, he has been on the GLD panel (previously Treasury Counsel) since 2007 and is recommended for employment work in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.  Prior to joining 42BR, Sam was a tenant for 25 years at Dere Street Barristers, York.  He still lives in North Yorkshire but works all over the UK.  Sam was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015.

Qualifications

Sam was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2015 and sits on the North Eastern circuit, including in BPC work.
